In worship, Faith Church seeks to gather our community to discover and celebrate what God has done for us. Through word and song, as participants and listeners, we respond to God with heart and mind. As we emphasize this vertical relationship, we also share a vision to “connect lives to Jesus by building relationships and community”, emphasizing our connection to each other in collective worship.

We are seeking a Worship Director to create an atmosphere of worship that includes reflection and celebration, well-prepared volunteers, and intentionally selected songs and service elements. Our worship should be accessible to people of varied educational, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds led by someone with the gifts of leadership, coordination, and creativity. The director is someone who empowers others and creates space for volunteers, believers, and seekers to connect with God in worship.

Faith Church is committed to supporting our new Worship Director in making connections in the local area, leveraging our community partnerships and relationships in education, arts, and performance sectors to uncover additional opportunities and connections for professional pursuits and artistic expression.


To lead Faith Church in implementing its worship vision and mission by

  • Creating a worship atmosphere that helps people from all backgrounds interact genuinely with God and each other
  • Equipping and guiding all worship leaders
  • Overseeing the incorporation of music and other art mediums into worship services to enhance the worship service theme


  • Active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Passionate about corporate worship
  • Desires to contribute to and promote Faith’s vision and mission
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, management, and organizational skills
  • Willing to be part of a creative team
  • Skilled in music and worship arts


  • Plan the music, liturgy and flow for weekly worship services based on the service theme
  • Monthly planning meetings with the worship committee
  • Oversee the preparation for weekly worship services including:
  • Communication and coordination with the Audio-Visual team
  • Communication of bulletin information with the church administrative assistant
  • Creation of weekly visuals for worship services
  • Distribution of worship scripts, music and other necessary information to worship leaders
  • Lead rehearsals with vocalists, instrumentalists and other participants
  • Be present at worship services to organize and assist music leaders
  • Encourage and equip all worship leaders to offer their best and to continue to develop their skills
  • Schedule vocalists and instrumentalists for each service
  • Recruit new volunteer worship leaders
  • Oversee seasonal celebrations (Advent, Lent, Pentecost, etc.)
  • Oversee copyright and license compliance
  • Routinely evaluate the effectiveness of worship services
  • Participate in and contribute to church staff activities under the direction of the pastor
